On bleau.info somebody with an account on the name of ‘Sam Edwards’ claimed an ascent of Graham’s ‘The Island’ 8c in Fontainebleau.

If this account is real and the claim is true then the strong Australian climber Sam Edwards made the third ascent of ‘The Island’ after Dave Graham’s first and Nalle Hukkataival’s second ascent.

I couldn’t find much about Sam. An old interview (2001) can be found here at australianbouldering.com. And here’s a video of Sam on Goldfish Trombone V13/14 - 8b(+), Bishop, USA, in 2000.

I wonder what Sam did the last 8 years :)
